Hello, Does anyone know of any good books, or articles, that detail the history of the US Eighth Army in the Pacific?

Thanks for sending these over. Both look like great resources. I know little about my Grandfather's service in WWII except his basic enlistment details and that he served with the Eighth in the pacific (learned from a photo I have). His records were all destroyed in the fire at the national archives in the 1970's. I've sent back some info to see if they can reconstruct anything from other sources, but in the meantime have been trying to learn more about the Eighth Army.
The Green Book Chronology will help, I think. Chronology: 1941-1945 | U.S. Army Center of Military History
