I didn't know the championship was being played. Not much rugby played around here, mostly being collegiate intramural teams and the like.

Good game, but it just has too much competition from a similar sport that is more popular about the US.

I think if you (US) watched the sport, particularly if you are "in" the sport...your NFL might get nervous...It has all that NFL has and much more...And minus those infernal "breaks" in play that go on forever!
Look out Tomahawks...The Kangaroos will get ya! : )

    And so we may...

The US tomahawks have made it to the quarter finals! This is the WORLD CUP people! A massive pat on the back for this effort...

Unfortunately they meet the Kangaroos in the quarters...so thier run will no doubt end there...but im impressed so far! Match tomorrow...

USA met Australia in the quarters on Saturday night...Apparently Barack Obama had tuned in and was wearing his Tomahawk Jumper. Well he got a show worth watching...a good match with penty of big hits and good plays. It did however, quickly become a Master Vs Student affair...

    Australia 62 - USA 0
