USS Indianapolis (CA-35)

    In a way...I guess.

    The destroyer USS Worden had her bell removed early in the war, again to save on weight, and the Worden was later lost in 1943. The bell, put into storage, was later put on display, and then reused on another USS Worden(CG-18). When CG-18 was retired, the bell went back into storage, before, again, going on display.

    He should not have been court-martialed, even the Japanese commander defended him.
    He committed suicide years later because of it.
