Now that I can post pictures I intend to show people what ive been talking about all these years...I thought id start with the memorial of the USS Peary, sunk in the Japanese raids in Darwin '42. Second picture shows it facing out to the harbour, still guarding...the third shows the Prez showing his respects to the lost on Peary and to Darwin in general by his presence.
Nice pictures. I'm glad you figured out how to post them. The people of Darwin and the Peary deserve this.
