Firefox needed to 'catch' up with the fact that there were no virus's. I had trouble for about two days, I couldn't even get on the site, but now it all seems good except for the weapons forum, so eventually will come back on.

    Cheers Triple C!

I'll say it again, the forums are clear of malware. The only issue we have is how google is classifying the pages. Any virus warning received at this point are residual warnings or infections that are currently on your machine.

Ouch. While trying to post a reply here last Thursday I suddenly got a very high-risk threat warning from my Antivirus which instantly threw me offsite.....:(

That frigging 'Bol Downloader' from'Rediff.com India Limited pop-up showed up again, just now. It wasn't there this morning, but it is now as of 1:23 PM Mountain Time USA.

Thought that crap was all gone, guess not! It is also on Chrome and Firefox. Looks like it wants to attack our PDF readers/Java script or something. I'm out-a-here for the time being!

I suppose you did, but just to make sure, have you guys cleaned the spies and checked your firewall on your p.c's ? If spie cookies keep hiding there, they'll pop up over and over again although the forum is clean and has nothing to do with it. I thouroughly cleaned my computer last week and do not get any warnings, neither from here , nor from elswhere.

Yes to all of the above. I had no "warnings" for two days, and ran multiple level scans for malware, adware, trojans, ect... All came up negative since I cleaned out the SONAR warnings from Norton which were targeted at the PDF readers, and Java Script.

The same one showed up today when I posted it, but it was a new path and even though the same "warning" through a different access. It is gone now, and I have run another full system scan and it was detected in my Foxit PDF reader and quarantined by SONAR (Norton).

It is gone again, but I will always run a "scan" when that stinker shows up in my "warning" levels. It doesn't get through, but I don't like having to work around it either. Slows stuff up.

I also had the same problem as Clint yesterday. Today all is working well. Virus scans are all negative, but whatever keeps popping up is causing my entire computer to freeze. The first couple times I though it coincidence, but it is only happening when I get that Bol downloader message.

I was just able to get back on. Tried several times last night but could not log in or post. Last night updated to Norton 2010 still no joy. I was using Firefox but this morning used Internet Explorer and the site allowed me to log in and if you see this post as well. ?????
