Interesting, didn´t know that Ribbentrop was SS, I always thought he was foreign ministry (Aussenminister). That Daily Mail paper seems to be obsessed with Nazi stories lol
He was made an SS-Standartenführer in, IIRC, 1933. I believe it was more or less an honorary position.
