Hehe.. well if i know scaramouche well enough, then that was ment as a joke ! But still I just wanted to be sure ! KBO
Correct, the position of the fore mast is the big give away. Dreadnought had hers behind the fore funnel. However it tended to get smoked out when the ship moved at high speed. Okay try this one
Ok, so it is a ship that was launched just before or just after HMS Dreadnaught, then. Beyond that, I have no idea!
It's a POWERFUL Class Cruiser lauched in 1895. Two units to the class Powerful and Terrible. They were built as a response the New Russian Cruiser Rurik but as soon as Rurik saw the light of day it was clear that they were wildly over the top. Larger than many contemptory battleships the POWERFUL Class were basically too expensive for the RN to afford, even at the height of the empire. Right with nationality and era, type is subjective (hint) class incorrect (I was accused of being insensitive when I simply told you were wrong in the past )
Oh my God, Blücher! How on earth I managed to miss that other wing turret back there? And being insensitive, dont feel sorry, I wasn't offended or anything like that.
Other people were mildly offended on your behalf And yes your right this is the WW1 Blücher. Is it just me or was that a really unlucky name?
It seem to been unlucky name, as was Scharnhorst and Gneisenau to some extend. By the way, WW1 Blücher is one of my favourite ships from that era. Mainly because it was one of a kind and obsolete before completed.
Okay the blindingly obvious answer is that it is a hovercraft. After that I'm guessing. American or at least American built, transport unit? After that I'm stumped.
I am sure that the Russians also opperated Hovercraft for landing craft, but I agree that this is most likely US and actually USMC. FNG
