    Can anyone help me with this book?

    I have had no luck finding anything about it online.

    I will say that is one neat find you have there. It looks like it is an informational book issued 1939/1940 about campaigns and generals and medals. I believe the title translated to English is "Wehrmacht Reports, World History, Published by the High Command of the Wehrmacht, a map image, and work documents," along those lines.

    The page with the large "1" on right page reads " Truppen des Deutschen Heeres sind heute morgen über alle deutsch-polnischen grenzen zum gegenangriff angetreten".

    This morning, Units of the German army crossed allover whole German-Poland border to counterattack.

    Its a report over the german attack on Poland.

    I think it is a text version from radiobroadcasts and movie wochenschau about german campaigns.

    Like this isbn nr:

    I know that the WEHRMACHTSBETICHTE was a war report that given over the radio. So I'm thinking that this may be a collection of those reports put into a book. Not sure when it was published. Perhaps it includes reports from 1939 and 1940. The WEHRMACHTSBERICHTE shined a light on specific people/divisions/leaders and the accomplishments that they had.
    I guess I will make making extensive use of Google Translate!

    It's an official army approved propaganda issue for the general population which tells the victories of the German army . Such booklets were available in kiosks , bookshops etc...
    The pictures were also chosen ones from official data bases. There was no place for alternative sources those days.

    You might find the according movie on Youtube when you search for " Deutsche Wochenschau "
    These are all propaganda films about the heroic german army. With awfull music that is.
