    Krag-Jørgensen

In Use by the Royal Norwegian Army from the late 1880ies (counting the trials) up to 1940.

Also in use by the US Army from 1892? It saw service in the US-Spanish war.

The one on the picture may be an Austrian licence made by Steyr Mannlicher. A total of 32 variants of the Krag Jørgensen were produced.

I have two at home. A Carabine used by my grandfather during the war, and a rifle version responsible for volumes of dead deer.
