    I agree, Russia paid dearly for those standards, I would not let them go, lest someone forget the price paid.

    Russia is on my dream list of places to vacation! Maybe I can view them someday.

    What's the point about the rain? crap those standartes would bring a pretty penny on the collectors market;):)

    The symbolism is striking, from the Nuremburg rallys to the footpath of the Kremlin, pity we have not learned a damn since. And yes the parade was held in the rain, to some such as myself rain symbolises a cleansing.

    R.I.P those who died on both sides.
