    The weather on D-Day was bad, but remember it was a lot worse the day before, which could have changed the out come of the war.. :eek:i:
    So What If, the invasion was on the 5th, what do you think the out come would have been. :ehm:

    I'm positive the outcome would have been exactly the same, only there might have been one or two more umbrellas on display ;)

    The weather on the 5th was no different than what it was on the 6th, the decision to go on the 6th was done hoping that the weather would improve while on the way over to Normandy, which it did.. Slightly. :silly:
