Mine comes from two inspirations. The first is that I am a mere boy at heart :D, and the other is in honor of the poor brain-washed youth that died in combat in WWII. So thats were my screen name comes from. :)

They were not all brainwashed. No more so than any one else was or is.

My name comes from a Greek word meaning crown, of course I didn't know this when I got it because it is of course my real name as well.

Hooah is a general purpose U. S. Army term. It means hello, goodbye, yes sir, no sir, let's go, me too, and many others. It is a very broad term used with pride by Rangers and Airborne Infantry.

My youngest son was a Sgt in the 325th PIR, 82nd Abn Div, back in the year 2000. I attended the annual "All American" week at Fort Bragg that year. I watched the entire division run 2 miles along a course lined with cannons. As each unit passed by, the cannons fired. It was impressive. It was clear that Hooah was more than a term, it was the spirit of the 82nd Airborne in the new millenium, hence Hooah2000.

YoungAirNut: Well when my friend told me about the forum, I notticed he used his nickname... and since i was too lazy to use mine (whic is "The Silver Fox") i just described myself. I'm young, and a huge air freak:ac_p51b::ac_me262:. So i just picked that!

Why do I not have any spaces in between my words? Too lazy to click the space bar!:flag_canada: yay

First initial, last name, birthday. How creative. But it's easy to remember (at least for me)

Tikilal is from a Mayan dialect spoken in Guatemala. It means right, righteous, just or saint. I lived there and spoke this and when I needed to choose and email address everything I wanted in English was taken so I said to myself self, almost no one in the world speaks kek-chi and so you can pick any thing from that and it will most likely be available. I figured it was a good reminder to be good everyday and so you have tikilal.

Aviation is the key word, because I'm an aviation fan. Besides skipper is an international term and also used in the navy. The Kommodore name is a honorific Luftwaffe title that I chose when appointed mod.

I do a little Cowboy Action Shooting and have a persona loosely based on Doc Holliday. I practice primarily in the Emergency Department and in the UK they refer to that as the Casualty Ward. Doc Casualty came forth as a playful pun and I use it as an online name on various forums.

We've had an influx of new members with strange screen names lately, so I'd like to give this thread a bump if no one minds....Well then, I'll just do it anyway....

I think it deserves a "sticky" anyway, and moved to the new members forum for all new-comers to register onto so we will all know the rest of the story....
