    posted a story about a guy swimming, who outswam a japanese torpedo onto a beach ( too lazy to look up)
    sounds incredible, but true

    They should, but the perception of Germany being at the vanguard of mechanisation persists.
    Signal magazine still feeds the panzer fanboys.

    Indeed, the US Army had on inventory about 56,000 mules & horses during WW2. Not including untold hundreds or thousands acquired "locally" by the troops.

    The USSR requires Finland all of its German guns etc after war but none of Soviet as its propaganda claims Finland never got any Red Army
    units trapped.
