Picked up this 310th Bomb Group caterpillar club with engraved JG Menihan pin. Grouping also came with a nice 12th AF patch, his Air Photo qualification badge and his sterling crew wings on lead air crew blue backing.
I know this is a guidon ,smells like diesel fuel but not sure if WW2. Does anyone know?
One of my cousins brought a "gun" over for me to check out. She had it in a big black trash bag. When she took it out I saw that it was pre-WW2 Thompson in the original box with the accessories. Being way over my head there I gave her the phone number of a dealer who could evaluate it for her. The Tommy-gun was found in under the floorboards of the attic in her house, undergoing remodeling.
Then I said "No matter what price he offers you, do not take it." I also told her to watch her boys, the guys who were doing the remodeling.
Nice Ike. Nice unit insignia with border.

Should have got a pic of that beauty...
I wanted it out of my house instantly.
The Thompson should be taken apart and the reciever torch cut into 3 pieces as per the BATFE web site. Then it is legal. It is made up of lots of valuable parts. Rich A. in Pa.
Got these 2 75 round RPK drum magazines. I was told they are Romanian. Rich A. in Pa.
