Wikileaks defies feds, releases Iraq war files | Politics and Law - CNET News

Wikileaks defied a series of increasingly stern warnings from the U.S. military and other government officials today by releasing a massive trove of secret documents from the Iraq war.
Portions of the U.S. military reports, totaling nearly 400,000 classified documents, began appearing on the Internet this afternoon, including on the Web sites of some news organizations that had been handed the documents in advance.

A Pentagon spokesman warned U.S. troops not to read the leaked documents. "The information remains classified even if it is released publicly," Marine Corps Col. Dave Lapan said today.

France's Le Monde said that the logs show U.S. casualty figures are "partially false."

    An excerpt;
"The documents contain little about British forces. Two reports from June 2008 record two Shia men describing being punched and kicked by UK troops.

Another entry dated September 2 2008 says a civilian interrogator claimed British soldiers had dragged him through his house, dunked his head in a bowl of water and threatened him with a pistol."
My God! What barbarians! To be punched and kicked when they could have been stabbed or shot. What I'd like to see is a story about the dumb son of a Bitch that leaked the files. That is treason in every since of the word.

I suspect in a day or two there'll be no shortage of articles - personally I think these docs should have come out, but the timing and the way it's been done are not ideal.

Chuckled at one of the wikileak quote: " Saudi Arabia wants war with Iran to the last American."...or something like that. Makes me wonder about the relationship between US and SA. Doesn't seem like a proper "friendship". Especially now that the word is that SA actually funds some of Al Qaeda.

And now (today?), we see that hillary thinks KSA and Qatar fund isis.
Hillary accepted upwards of 25 million from ksa.

Aren't we supposed to be fighting isis?

Another nail in the coughin'. But the witch just won't die.
Needs a wooden stake, because- evil.

    If we forget history (threads),
we are doomed to repeat them (and who wants to hear more from me- nobody, sniff).

They were probably pulled of Hillary's personal E-Mail server.

Just wear and own it...denials just make them look weak and pathetic, and gives ammunition to the opposition.
The US is NOT evil...selfish and stupid sometimes but not evil...they do everything for a reason, even if that reason isn't always obvious. The administration doesn't just want to hurt people...when this occurs its for a reason. The reasons aren't always sufficient for many people...
