Looks like the sort of stuff that's left over at the end of a Church jumble sale....

My nephew got this stuff on his birthday cake a few weeks ago! The exact stuff. He's not from Canterbury though, so it isn't them selling it off...

No matter! I've been buying the most unbelievable stuff on ebay, including my 2 digital cameras, the latest one brand new NIB at 1/3 of the price here! (Minolta Z1)

I've been buying figures, books (the latest were three priceless historical novels by Alfred Duggan, ever heard of him? you should!)

I have found magnificent flat figures in Germany. Oh, and the German market for plastic figures is much better than the UK one, pricewise.

All my Christmas shopping this year was done on ebay too [IMG]

And I have to say I have the very best opinion ao almost all the sellers I've been meeting.

I've been on ebay for the last 4 years or so and I certainly intend to continue. If a guy comes up selling rubbish, that's his problem, not mine, I'm not buying from him :D

    Here's another eBay wonder!

I was bidding £15 and expecting a price war, but nobody else saw it so I got it away for 95p [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] :D

Congrats Za! Very good buy! I myself got some good buys off auction sites lately. Seems that the market (for books) is slow right now, compared with what people paid a few years ago! It seems like the "idots" who pay big $ for everything have spent their money!

But 95p is a give away! [IMG]

Sure it was! Now I'm only missing a few 1974 and 1975 issues and that's it. Slowly, slowly I'm scanning and storing the more relevant articles so I can share them later, but don't ask anything for now for I'm in for the long haul.

Mil Mod at the time was somewhat ecletic, with some very good warship articles by John Lambert and Harry Woodman, and WW1 insignia. When the Resin Plague started attacking in the early 90's I quit subscribing.

Za - I must admit a nice but. First issues are usually hard to come by.
