I've recently found a "Standard" list of Seabee Equipment here and began to match it to Manufacturer's Models they would have used to meet the demand. (I've mixed in US Army Quartermaster model designation as that's what I've found online until I understand WW2 USN logistics.) Any additions or corrections are welcome as well. A battalion of 32 officers and 1073 men were provided with the following equipment in a standard battalion: 264 x 16 sq ft tents 21 x TENT, FIRE-RESISTANT, STORAGE, OLIVE-DRAB, QMC Stock No. 24-T-321 (17 by 20 ft tents) 26 x TENT, FIRE-RESISTANT, HOSPITAL WARD, OLIVE-DRAB, 6-FOOT, 2-INCH DOOR, QMC Stock No. 24-T-319-5 (16 by 50 ft tents) 69 x 20 by 48 ft quonset huts (Stran-Steel Quonset 20) 3 x 40 by 100 ft quonset huts (Stran-Steel Quonset 40) 8 water purification units (10,000 gpd) Canvas tanks for water storage 2 x 500 gpm fire fighting pumps + hand held extinguishers 8 x 15 Kw generators 1 x 50 ckt telephone switchboard + telephones 1 x public address system 1 FM radio set with 60 mi range (as required) 1 x Truck, 3/4 ton, 4x4 Ambulance (Dodge WC-54) (G502) 18 x Truck, 1/4 Ton, 4x4 (Willys MB / Ford GPW) (G503) 4 x Truck, 3/4 ton, 4x4, Weapons Carrier (Dodge WC-52) (G502) 1 x Truck, 2-1/2 ton, 6x6, 750gal Water Tank (GMC CCKW-353) (G508) 4 x Truck, 1-1/2 ton, 4x4 Chevrolet Model G4163 book symbol ZP/ Model G7117 book symbol NM - cargo body, with winch(G506) 4 x Truck, 2-1/2 ton, 6x6 Cargo (GMC CCKW-353) (G508) 1 x Truck, 2½-Ton, 6×6, GMC, M211 (Kitchen Truck) (G749) The tarpaulin cover is raised by about 24 inches so the cooks have sufficient headroom. The top of the kitchen stands 11 feet, 7 inches above ground level. The sidewalls on the driver’s and passenger’s side of the truck are not of equal height. The sidewall on the driver’s side rises up to the top of the bows to support a set of kitchen cabinets, much like a kitchen cabinet in a home. The sidewall on the passenger’s side stands 36 inches high. It supports the serving counter. The back of the kitchen is walled off and framed for a standard door. A set of steps provides access into the truck. The catwalk on the right side of the truck folds up and is secured to the side of the truck while the truck is moving. 3 x M1937 field ranges - Each range is equipped with: M1937 fire units 10- and 15-gallon stockpots heavy aluminum roasting baking pan set of knives and utensils.
