    Hello Emma.

I'm sorry but I don't think that will be very easy. Most of the people who write on here don't live in England so it would be very difficult for them to get there, even those of us who do would not find it easy.

If you want to know anything I am sure we would be able to type something on here for you, if you'd like to ask a question about World War Two or if you just want to know a bit more about it. Then your teachers or parents might be able to print it out for you and your class.

If you want to know anything just ask us, but please always be careful on the internet and never tell anyone your email or telephone number or anything about yourself. If anyone asks you anything about yourself please tell your teachers or parents.

    Simon.

Hello Emma, I guess that you are in COVERHAM in Yorkshire?
You are not far from Catterick,Ripon and Darlington.
What you should do is ask your Teachers to contact the local branch of the 'Royal British Legion', I'm sure that the WW2 veterans there would be only too pleased to come and talk to you.
I know that happens quite often in schools in my area.
Oh dear, I've read it wrong!!!You say COVINGHAM!!!! but you'll find the RBL veterans will help you. GOOD LUCK.

Merlin were you infantry, armour, artillery, or an engineer or another part of the army , and what battles were you part of ?

My grandfather took part in France, Germany , Italy , Netherlands and maybe Belgium , he was a tank gunner.
