I have been on a bit of a binge of ww2 media of late since my interest in the topic has been rekindled but am quickly running into the wall of a lack of documentaries that don’t solely focus on hitler and the holocaust . I have watched (“the war”, “world war 2 in colour “, “Greatest events of ww2 in colour “ , “Hitlers circle of evil” ) I would be extremely grateful if any recommendations anyone can give me

    Thank you

Five Came Back (Netflix) Also watch the original releases of the docs created by the five directors. Eye opening and raw, but timepieces that give you a feel for the period.

    Fully agree.

I'm rewatching the World at War now. I forgot what a great series this was. They do smooth over some of the fine points, but it strikes me that they get a good bit right (as far as I know). And the footage is amazing.
