Hi, I'm new but this seemed like the best place to post this. I'm trying to write a fiction book based on some events in WWII. So I was wondering if anyone knows anything about what a bullet wound from a G43 German Sniper gun would be like.
Go to your local library or university library and check out a book called Wound Ballistics by the Office of the Surgeon General. It is quite graphic and very detailed. It was written just after WW II and describes all sorts of wounds and how they are caused. The artillery and flak caused ones are really nasty.
G'day You might have a look at the "Office of Medical History "at their online books http://history.amedd.army.mil under enemy ordenance Cheers Popski
