"A World War II cannon with three live projectiles was discovered on a riverbank in the Philippines, army officials said. The rusty cannon was found in Antipolo City following Tropical Storm Ondoy during the weekend of Sept. 26, GMANews.TV reported. The cannon's projectiles and munitions were later defused, said the Army's 2nd Infantry Division Lt. Col. Noel Detoyato. The artillery probably was Japanese Army-owned, as they were discovered near a World War II Japanese camp. It will be displayed at the museum of the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Capinpin in Tanay, Detoyato said. The cannon was found when Ondoy caused soil erosion when it hit Manila and environs."
