I have no military experience, but my uncle is 90 years old and served in the army.

I would like to know what his patches represent.

Any guidance or info would be appreciated.

Also, what does the 44 - 18 mean?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

They mean he was a hero!!! I'm headed out the door, but others will definitely be along and help. Right off the bat, I see a CIB (combat infantry badge), that laurel leaf is a metorious unit plague...
