Hi...I am new in the forum, and not sure if I have the right forum here, but...
I have a pair of WWll wooden tank silhouettes, that were apparently used for training. They are reasonably large...being about 20" long...
One is definitely German...the other I thought was American, but is has a 'flag' or insignia painted on each side and is a red-white-red vertical design (as a flag would be).
Can anyone help me out here. Does this flag/insignia define the tanks identity?
    Thanks in advance.
    Steve

If it is a wide red stripe-narrow white stripe-wide red stripe it could be Italian symbol for 1st company-1st platoon.

If the stripes are the same width, it could be Canadian. Symbol on Canadian Churchills 1942-43, and Rams 1942, and Shermans 1943 in England (training units). Also on Dieppe Raid Churchills 1942 and on Shermans in Sicily 1943

Some photos might provide more of a clue, Bajan.
