Why do you want a Leo 2 crewed by germans??
The Dutch always win in shooting contests (with among Germans and Americans as competitors).....so better have a Dutch crew ;)

You are the second person who has referred to the wargame compettions. I'm not doubting you (games mean little compared to the real thing IMO) it's just that I would like to read about these games. Sounds like fun.
Do you have a link..or the names and locations of the games?

Haven's decided on the troop number or which nation's people will do what yet. Have decided on ships (aircraft carriers like the Abraham Lincoln, nuclear subs, destroyers, cruisers), aircraft (F14Ds, F/A18s, F15Es, F16s, F22s, B1Bs plus a few B52s), I'd get Merkavas, Challenger 2s and M1A2s (or at least versions of them) for my tank force, C7s as the principle rifle and American money to pay expenses (which seems unanimous).
My command vehicle would be a robotic, 50 ft tall T-Rex. If not available then an M1A2 Abrams with an upgraded gun (the existing one sucks with a length of only 44 calibers and a muzzle velocity of only 1676m/s). upgraded armor and other tech to make IT, and not the Merkava, the best tank in the world. Or maybe a Challenger 2 with all of that.

I'd have the Russian airforce (Su-27, Su-33, Mig 31, Mig-29, Tu-95, Tu-22, Mi-24, Mi-28, Ka-50) operating from US Navy Carriers (Nimitz, George Washington, Carl Vinson) ... And of course from air force bases, which would be well protected by Russian Anti-Air/Missile systems (ZU-23, Tunguska, Shilka, IKSANDER-E, Strela, IGLA, S-300 series...) Any planes shot down by them would be recovered by versatile French Light Recon Vehicles (AMX-10 RC, AMX-13) And infantry with reliable Russian small arms (AKM, PKM, RPG, PM Makarov), who would be transported around in sturdy Russian APC's (BTR-80, BTR-T, BMP-3) and also be involved in assaults with speedy Russian and Ukrainian MBT's (T-84, T-80U, T-72, T-90) and powerful Sweedish IFV's and Light tanks (IKV 91, CV-90, STRV-130 C) Supported indirectly of course by American Artillery (M-109, M-110, MLRS) and also the entire American Navy

My own personal command vehicle would be a 50ft tall mechanical spider... or if not available a zippy T-90 armed to the teeth and with lots of snacks in the frigde

    Tanks:
    Scorpion Tanks (from Halo)
    Tigers
and throw ing a few AT-ATs and AT-ST for the heck of it

    Infantry:
Stormtrooper (and all related sub-catagories except space troopers)

    Airforce:
CF-105s (powered by ion engined to increase weapons bay and a few external hardpoints)
    B-36 bombers

    Navy:
Bismarck class battleships armed with short range missiles and Comanche helicopters
Typhoon class submarines with tomahawks for missiles (fit more on and can't shoot 'em down easily)

That just about covers it. and I'd be watching it all from the Commissioner (see description on my site under technical stuff)

Well, in that case, I'll add a few Clone Turbo Tanks to my army. I mean, Siberian Black got to use Scorpion tanks from Halo. Why not anything from Star Wars? They're both made up. And for the navy, some Iowa battleships with missiles and everything. Those walkers from The Empire Strikes Back are a great idea, and maybe that robo-Rex from Trech (a web game) should be mass-produced. The stormtrooper thing. Hmmm. Is it allowed?

uh oh, what have I started now :D

Well I figured the stormtroopers was a better idea then a droid army by tossing the human factor (AFAIK stormies are always human males)

Although the super death star sounds good too.

Sorry, Blaster and Siberian, but the topic description was:

No imaginary stuff then, there's a clear frame of options there.

Hey Baron, why would you have an E100 while your soldiers ride around in M1A2 Abrams tanks? Your army would outrun you, outgun you and you couldn't scratch their paint!

Well, in that case, then cancel everything made-up in my posts and just go with the M1A2s, Iowas, and all the other real stuff. My command vehicle choices would be the same.
