Either that, or he's just been told that plate of meat he had was once a cute little bunny. ;)

    Thanks everyone!

About the Panzer comic, I'd still need a script from Danyel Phelps first, and he seems either too busy to make one or feels he would burden me too much as making that comic takes a lot of time. Either way I will wait until he thinks the time is right.

Ricky: I will not post my drawings on Elfwood, for various reasons.
    1) Those who see pictures on Elfwood are random visitors who don't know anything about me and whom I don't know anything about, whereas I ike to decide for myself who gets to see my work.
    2) Elfwood is about fantasy and SF, and as such none of my drawings qualify as anything more than "borderline cases" according to their labelling system.
    3) In spite of all the quality work being posted on Elfwood, such as Ebar's SF story, I still see the site in general as an anime-fest, and anime will eventually kill all creativity unless we put a stop to it somehow. A good start would be to boycott endless collections of copy-paste anime crap.

Unfortunately true. There is some great stuff there but equally there is a lot of rubbish and their overly tight definition of Fantasy has lead to endless boring elves.

Anime is an overrated art style. I have no idea why, but everyone I know loves it and often ignores the merits of any other style of art.

Now, I watch some Anime on a regular basis (Mature cartoon block called "Adult Swim" that airs usually when I’m doing school work.) and I do enjoy some of it because of the script. I absolutely hate the unrealistic art form where everyone is apparently a supermodel. Seriously, the next time you get the chance to watch Anime; try to find where you can find a flaw on any of the facial features of any of the characters.

And the thing that really makes me hate it is that whenever I’m watching some American Animation such as Justice League, or maybe some European cartoons that are of exceptional quality: my Borg of a friend crashes in and labels it as “Based off Japanese art.” Or I’ll be watching some uber cool superhero stuff like some old Superman movies, and my buddy pops in to inform me that Superman was based off Japanese superheroes.

So I guess I’m supposed to accept the fact that everything Godly came from Japan and everything Sucky came from everywhere else, like God descended on Japan and gave them total dominion over everything totally awesome.

So I guess it’s the effect on those with weak fortitudes that I hate most; the way it turns people from proud wherevertheycamefromians into Japanowank zombies.

I don’t even see the big attraction in Anime. What about it makes it so much better than everything else in the eyes of its fans? In the past, I was of the opinion that maybe the appeal came from seeing Japanese school-aged Super Ladies in miniskirts, ala Sailor Moon. But that can’t be it, since not every anime features animated schoolgirls.

Maybe that’s just how they get people hooked. Either way, Anime sucks and it should die in a fire.

A lot of modern animation looks cheap and nasty to me.

Call me old fashioned but animation hit it's peak with Bugs Bunny. :D

Indeed. Now that anime is becoming so big, Western countries are trying their hand at it as well. It only gets worse. Anime is a plague.

I will consider destroying the world if shows like Futurama, Family Guy, ATHF, and Harvey Birdman get canceled to open up spots for...anime. You know, sometimes it's really hard not to curse on this forum.

You mean you don't like all the spin offs/rip offs/**** offs associated with Looney Tunes?

That hand, Roel - is truly amazing. Great work.

Other nice details are the crack in the armor and the glare - congratulations on another masterpiece :)

    Thanks, Panzerman!

The curves of the plates are terrible, though. I should have paid more attention to them.

The armour isn't practical because of the sharp corners, every time he moved they would stick in him....plus it is very thick metal and would weigh a ton, it's the right thickness if it was leather armour.

    Superb drawing though....well done!

I suppose the armour would be bent forward to prevent that (like Roman segmented plates), and the thickness is just conjecture! Thanks for the constructive criticism...

Heres a drawing i'm working on right now, an American soldier marching from the frontlines, (i've figured out how to make it around the size of the actual drawing)
