    Hi everyone,

    My name is Mike,

I am carrying out some research into the role of the Vosper Mk11 MTB around coastal waters 1939 - 1945.

Could anyone please help with my research?

Could you please advise of the weapons and fire power of the vessel, the ranks and duties of the crew, the average age of the crew, and where was the greatest amount of coastal action.

Thank you in anticipation of your invaluable help

    Mike

    Cant find much mate.

    Vosper 73ft Motor Torpedo Boat
The Vosper MTB's were the smallest and fastest boats to serve in the Royal
Navy during WWII and they had a significant impact on enemy merchant shipping.
The 73ft MTB was armed with 2X18in. torpedo tubes and with 3 Packard engines
of greater than 3600hp could reach 35-40 knots. The boats were also
successfully use as minelayers and to insert secret agents.
