    There was still humanity and we may not forget this!
    Many unknown soldiers gave their lives for their enemy, because
    they knew that their enemy was an HUMAN too.

    Show some Respect to those Soldiers who gave their life for their enemy.
    You may show your respect in this topic and discuss about this too,
    since this is the meaning of this topic!

    I came across a good one of some Germans helping a downed Russian pilot, will have to find and scan it,then post it here. Nice Thread.

    What a great topic Sturmkreuz. It's good to see the humanity of soldiers who share the same sorrows, even if some of these pictures are obviously meant to be propaganda, like the pow letter to Michigan.

    I know. I didn't had to say that was a Propaganda photo because you recognize it and it's a famous one (for us), with the none-famous propaganda photos.. Don't worry I'll tell you.

    A little note:

    Propaganda photos may not be taken serious!

    I gonna update the first post with the defenition of Propaganda.

    The American soldier Lengfeld tried to save could possibly be from the Ninth Army. The Ninth Army took part in the final battles around the Hürgten Forest. Keep posting the nic pics Sturmkreuz

    It was an German Officer which tried to save an American Soldier his life but got killed during this brave action.
