The German Divisional Staff of most of the combat units in were similar and divided into three Operational Groups:

    1) The Fuhrungs Abt (Tactical Detachment)
    2) The Quartermeister (Supply Group)
    3) The Adjutantur (Personnel Group)

    The Tactical Group included:
    Chief of Operations (1a.)
    Chief Intelligence Officer (1c.)

The Supply H.Q. is physically seperated from the above and included:
Chief Supply Officer (1b.) or Dicisional Quartermeister.
    Chief Administration Officer (IVa.)
    Chief Medical Officer (IVb.)
    Chief Veterinary Officer (IXc.)
    Motor Transport officer (V)

    The Personnel Group:
    Chief Personnel Officer (IIa.)
Second Personnel Officer. Adjutant II. (IIb.)
    Chief Judge Advocate (III)
Chaplain (if any?) (IVd.) which also included motor pools and security detachments and the like.

ARKO = Senior Artillery Officer attached to the division on a temporary basis.

More info to follow if anyone is interested?
