Sixty-four bomber pilots and crew lie in the cemetery at Wevelgem Communal and today many locals still pay their respects to those brave men from high in the skies.

I'm working on finding a photo of her back then, but not having much luck yet. But here's a website I did come across in my search: Skylighters, The Web Site of the 225th AAA Searchlight Battalion: The Barracks Wall: The WW II Pinup Gallery

There's nothing like knowing what you are fighting for.

I sometimes agree with your sentiment, Miguel, wrong time for me too.

Gene Tierney was a very beautiful woman - she was legendary as the star of the film-noir classic, 'Laura'.....

Laura, that is one of the "must sees" of the film-noir era. Gene Tierney was such a delectable vision.

GOOD job finding it, Adam.

Somebody rep him for his tenaciousness. I can't yet, it's been too soon.
