Yes the last one is the big three at Yalta The first one is corregidor The third one is Kurt Knispel, one of the biggest tank aces in history You are missing the 2nd one
Hello Nikolai. I've noticed you are a new member, if you wish you can go in the new member section and introduce yourself. You'll meetm ore people than on this old thread. Welcome on the forum.
The second one is Vasily Zaiestsev(probbably botched the spelling). He was a Soviet sniper with something like 400 confirmed kills. The movie "Enemy at the Gates" is based on his story. He still doesn't measure up to Simo Hayha(probably botched that too) a Finnish sniper with 505 confirmed kills,542 claimed, and 200 claimed SMG kills.
" "Creamer's Dream" was a P-51D assigned to Lt. Charles White of the 301st FS, 332nd FG in 1945. White is credited with two victories scored during the big April Fool's dogfight.
So close. It's Lt. White's plane but the pilot in the photo isn't Lt. White. A little googling will surely find the answer.
Since nobody guessed it, it is another of the Tuskegee Airmen, Capt. Edward Gleed. If you google creamers dream you will find photos identifying him.
