Just signed up because I'm in the midst of a lot of reading on WW II. I remember way back in college at UCSD, a history professor stated that "everyone needs to study a war," so a person could understand the modern world better. That always stuck with me over the years, and now I find that WW II has become the war that I'm studying.

Welcome aboard! There are worse compulsions than history. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
