Whatever I was given, just like everyone else! Hasn't this already been covered? PanzerAG, I like the avatar, it's almost true, real men RIDE tanks, not everyone drives
LOL You beat me to it Stefan . A soldier was meant to use what was issued to him and he really had no choice in what. And yes it has been discussed before quite a few times.
OK here is what I hope my weapons will be sorted by nation :flag_USA_ww2: America: M1 Garand (of course) M1928 Thompson w/ a 50 round drum Side arm: Of course the M1911 45. Also a few dozen pounds of explosives :flag_USSR: USSR: SVT-40 PPsh 41 With a TT-33 :aa_germany: Third Reich: (calling it what it was) Sturm Gewher 44 Panzerfuast 100m (for a little boom) P-38 and a lot of explosives (first official post on these forums so I probably overdid it)
Ok. As has been shown numerous times and in numerous similar threads people can make lists of thier favorite weapons according to thier opinions . How about giving some reasons why?
Why explosives? Everyone goes on about them but it's not like in the games where you leave a charge and destroy a tank, as a rule it was normally specially trained engineers who used explosives to destroy obstacles and the like, the best most people would ever see is a hawkins mine or similar.
Now that is funny! Good to see you, Za! I heard you are in the process of opening a restaurant? How's it going?
I have owned, OPERATED and used quite a few weapons in my life. If I were given a choce to wield one I would choose a Scottish Claymore or a Ghurka Khukri.
Red tape and more red tape! There's a thread on that at the Free Fire Zone So you don't want to be a MG42 gunner anymore? Is it up close and personal now?
Awww I have never stated I wanted to be one LOL. And its just not "Cool" or "awesome" enuf for me LOL. For me it would be the good ol "Ma Duece" .
Thompson. Effective at close combat and in mid range shooting, less chance of jamming unlike the M1 Garand, and some upgrades available (I know it wasn't frequently used, but it's better to have some that actually exist). It is also compact, has a high caliber (I believe that decreases accuracy but the impact damage is immense?)... and yea too many other things to name. It's a great all-round weapon
yes Stefan this has been covered many times and I'm gonna give the same answer as always! If I was given the choice! I would take up the tommy, for plain old stopping power!
