I used to think that Hiroshima was by the Pacific ocean, but if you want it to be on Lake Tahoe that's fine by me.

Technically, Hiroshima is a city on what the Japanese call the "Inland Sea". The Inland Sea is actually a strait between the Islands of Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku, all of which are in the Pacific Ocean.

The atomic bombing of Hiroshima was part of the endgame of the Pacific War.

When all else fails, trot out the conspiracy theories. If there are none available, make one up.

Like: Did you know that FDR ordered the bomb saved for Japan because he didn't want it used on Europeans?
