This is looking better by the day. Apparently, the exhibition has been loaned a Mk 22 Spitfire, which has been disassembled in order to let visitors get a better look at the inside, and also a feel for what it was like to fly.

Outstanding exhibit. I could hope to see it if I get to England in the next two years.

There's really no excuse for me - the Museum is about 20 minutes from here by Tube..... :cool:

My problem's the opposite, Martin. I could drive for 8 hours....or spend 5 in a train...or spend a fortune and fly in an hour.
Whatever the method, no cash to do so. graemlins/no.gif :(
