    Hey Guys,

LSU just defeated the Texas Longhorns up in Omaha in the NCAA College World Series. The final score was 11-4. LSU won the best of 3 series, 2-1. Even though LSU won the first game Monday night by one run (7-6), I figured that the Longhorns would come back with a case of the a$$ Tuesday, and they did. They pounded LSU 5-1, and I figured that it was the shape of things to come. But tonight, LSU came out and played their "A" game and prevailed. Good thing that I am not a betting man when it comes to sports....

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

Congrats, A-58. Wished it were the Tide, but an SEC team winning is still good.

Next year will be the proverbial "re-building year." About half the team got drafted into the farm systems, and some graduated. So it will be up for grabs next year.

LSU has been a steady force to contend with in their athletics... especially Baseball and Football. A gal I used to work with at Harold's clothing was a big time fan. She's actually the one that got me on board rootin for the Tigers. I know the news is fairly old, but man was that a series to watch.

Thanks for the support! It made for some great tailgate parties, even though most parties were held on patios and sports bars. There were about 10,000 LSU fans in Omaha for the tourney. Most didn't have tickets to get into the game. They just went for the atmosphere and partying.

Who do you normally pull for anyway?

On the contrary! I just saw your message, but have been walkin round with a cocky attitude since their victory!! Now if Les can get his boys all fired up for the upcoming season, I'll be a happy camper!!
