Battlefield 1943 is a recent downloadable game for the PS3/Xbox 360. [The PC version will be released later in the year]

It is a strictly online game, set in the Pacific campaign in World War 2. It features 3 extremely fun "islands" (maps) which include Guadalcanal, Wake Island, and Iwo Jima. Once the community reaches a total of 43 million kills, another map (Coral Sea) Will be unlocked to play.

It's only $15 and it's a really fun game, check it out for yourself!

I will be getting this game, hopefully tonight. I've heard it isn't very realistic but still a fun shooter title.

Yeah, the islands aren't really that spot-on and Mount Suribachi just looks...well, I can't really describe it, but it's still a great fun arcade game.

Sony has it at the same price. EA set the price, not Microsoft or Sony.

    And, it's worth it.
