Hi, I found you guys after getting tired of the inaction on the two military history forums I was on. Looks like there's a lot more action here :D

I'm the older son of a WWII vet, born on the leading edge of the Baby Boom, and very interested in my father's war. Fortunately, I have a job that gives me a lot of free time, which means I get to do a lot of studying and writing.

As I mentioned in my profile, I am particularly interested in strategic mistakes and thngs that could have gone the other way.

Howdy Dave,

Another Alabamian, I see. Jump in, this is a fairly busy forum and I hope that there is much for you post about.

What part of the state are you in?

Best Regards,

Hi, Dave. Welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of information and plenty to pique your interest. Hope to see you posting regularly.

Jeff, does this mean we've hit our limit on Alabama boys?

I was gonna ask you the same question.

Cullman County, about 4.5 miles SW of Exit 304.

Unlike those pesky Texans, there is no limit on Alabama members.

I was gonna ask you the same question.

I'm a bit further south, near Montgomery.

The Folsom family is from Cullman, right?
