Hello, I’m Dennis and my dad was in the Army during WWII as was my father-in-law and uncle. I have really been enjoying looking around on this site. Hopefully I can enhance my genealogy research and learn more about their service. They are all passed away and I can no longer ask those questions.

My dad and father-in-law were in Europe (Paris, Germany). My uncle was in Persia, Iran and Russia. He was with the 231 Signal Detachment. I have letters of his that are from Persia and Iran and an application for a job after the war saying he went 1 yr at the university of Kharkov in Kharkov, Russia. I'll post more questions about my relatives in the apporiate forums. Thanks for the welcome.
