[IMG]I have what appears to be a WWII era German knife.
I would like to specifically identify.
It is single sided blade, 5 1/4" long, with 9 3/4" total length of knife.
It has a black plastic (bakelite?) handle with plated metal crossguards on each end of handle. A screw in the end of the handle holds the handle/crossguards to the blade. There is the impression (molded in or etched in) in the handle of a bird (eagle?). The blade has "ERN Silingen Germany" on one side and "PIC 961" on other near crossguard impressed into blade. I can supply pics to any who wish to help.
    Thanks.
