If you're a Gooner (or you simply hate Tottenham) and a WW2F rogue give us a shout out!

Arsenal - Kings of London, you've got to love it! :D

I was born in Enfield hospital, Middlesex County of London.....(Ahem!)...right down the road from WHITEHART LANE....ermm...SPURS hometurf...

Little joke for you....

An English family are having their Christmas dinner, and "Father" stands up and says, "OK, whatever football team you support, that is the portion of the Christmas bird that you can have. Ronny?"
"West Ham"
"Right, you can have a wing. David?"
"Chesterfield United"
"Good, you can have the breast. Doug?"
"Arsenal....and I'm not hungry, thanks!"

Lovely joke.

'Away in a manger,
No crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus looked up and he said,
We hate Tottenham, and we hate Tottenham!'

'Have you ever seen the Tottenham win the league?
Have you ever seen the Tottenham win the league?
Have you ever seen the Tottenham,
Ever seen the Tottenham,
Have you ever seen the Tottenham win the league?'

WHITEHART LANE....ermm...SPURS hometurf...

S____te Hart Lane, more like.

Well, see Urqh, thats more of a bet for me then for you, as you've moved mostly over to WW2Talk. So I'll one up you...

Liverpool don't qualify for Champions League then you're off of WW2Forum and WW2Talk for the month of September. If they do qualify, then I will stay off both for the month of September.

Hows that for a deal?

I realise that 'Spurs" are not everyone's fav team...

But gee....wasn't Liverpool's un-gracious exit so good to see?

THOUGHT I recognised Urqh from WW2 talk...used to be there myself...I seem to recognise others from the same site...

Does anybody know what happened to the Finnish fellow, (went by the name of HIGGE) that had his own site? It disappeared from the ether awhile back...don't know where he went....would appreciate it if anybody could fill me in

Arsenal - Kings of London, you've got to love it! :D

But the Woolwich Arse aren't even the best team in South London, not to mention London as a whole:stickpoke:

Chelsea *spit* are surely the current "Kings of London"

We're not even talking about Spurs :P

But, the p**s-taking set aside, Chelsea are the best in London at the moment. :headbash: They're all about the money, that team. The new age Real Madrid, just loads of dough and famous names. They dont even have devout fans anymore, it's all just hangers-on, much like Man Utd.

Well, then again, it is the EPL, the richest footie league in the world, so that's justifiable.

To be spoken to the theme of "Choose Life"

Choose Arsenal
Choose overbearing arrogance.
Choose systematic dirty play and calling it "competitiveness".
Choose the most staged, contrived, up-your-own-ar$es goal celebrations ever witnessed.
Choose winning two championships in eleven seasons and acting like you've won seven in nine.
Choose paying £9 million for Francis Jeffers.
Choose Dennis Bergkamp and his carefully-timed elbows into the side of the head.
Choose deliberately disrespecting and belittling the other team by playing keepy-uppy in their half with a few minutes to go.

Choose fancying yourselves as better than Real Madrid, then having Chelsea run rings around you at home. Choose turning the sports section of the observer into a gunners fanzine.
Choose getting away with light or delayed punishments at FA disciplinary hearings because you've had every possible string pulled by David Dein.

Choose a persecution complex nonetheless and never shut up about it.
Choose embarrassing yourselves in a Renault "va-va-voom" ad and then disgracing yourselves further at the world cup finals.

Choose David Seaman and his public mid-life crisis.
Choose watching an opponent miss a last-minute penalty against you, then running after him and jeering him.
Choose George Graham grinding his way to the dullest championship win of all time.
Choose to see yourselves as one of the giants of continental football when you've never even reached a European cup semi-final in your entire history.

Choose picking Ray Parlour for over a decade.
Choose having the quietest stadium in the world ("The Library") as your home ground, and then having the cheek to slag Man Utd about their fans.

Choose having Nick Hornby as the mouthpiece of your supporters.
Choose pretending that five or six years of playing in a watchable fashion makes up for inflicting over a century of ultra-defensive dogsh*t on English football watchers.

Choose Igor Stepanovs, Nelson Vivas, Kanu, Pascal Cygan, Davor Suker, Gilles Grimandi, David Grondin, Remi Garde, Kaba Diawara, Junichi Inamoto, Jeremie Aliadiere, Oleg Luzhny, Luis Boa Morte, Richard Wright, Stefan Malz, Christopher Wreh, and all the other turkeys that nobody ever mentions when creaming themselves about how great Wenger is in the transfer market.

Choose 58 red cards in seven years.
Choose bottling the treble despite having all the luck in the world.
Choose Arsenal

This just proves that Arsenal trump all the other teams...the time it took to research and write all that would never be wasted on a team like Liverpool.

All very tongue in cheek too, since much worse things can be said about teams like Man Utd and Chelsea.

Interestingly, Chelsea over the last 10 years seems to have collected more Yellow and Red cards then any other team (always top 3 in the category) and shockingly Man Utd isn't as high as I would think, but then again Refs always rule in Sir Alex's favor in such matters (Roy Keane, anyone?).

Arsenal are not a dirty team at all...kinda funny that should be mentioned. I think Man Utd holds the dirtiest team category, for a very long time. Arsenal have always been at the top of the league, and who can forget the Invincibles? I don't see Man Utd or Chelsea or Liverpool playing an entire season undefeated...or holding the longest unbeaten record (46 games).

David Seaman is an Arsenal and English great. 'Nuff said.

If my Europe cup you mean the Champions league? I do believe we've got to the semi's on several occasions and the finals once.

Pretty sure that red card stat is pretty bogus too.

Can I just go on record and say that I absolutely admire Arsenal for their commitment to attractive positive football something that United Fans absolutely adore. As a sidenote my favourite Premiership player ever that didnt play for United was Dennis Bergkamp, an absolute magician with a ball. That previous post was definitely Tongue in Cheek!
