340th Bombardment Group - Target Photos

The 57th Bomb Wing Association has just published on its website an additional 40 combat missions flown by the 340th Bomb Group, mostly to targets in Italy and the South of France.

Each entry draws information from a wide variety of sources including the war diaries, crew lists, mission reports and target photographs.

Wherever possible first-person accounts are included.

It is hoped that this will prove a useful resource to individuals searching for information about family members or for information about specific targets and missions.
