Your Name: Gene, I use the name Messala from my favourite movie, Ben Hur
2. Age: Im 27 years old, I have been interested in WW2 since I was a child when I used to buy old ww2 comics and magaines in second hand book stores with my pocket money lol
3. Origins: I was born and raised in the Republic of Ireland, but have been living in the UK for the past year.
4. Specifics: I'm interested in all areas of ww2 but my favourite aspects would be the Atlantic U Boat Battles, British operations in Europe and the Social/Polilitical aspects of the Third Reich.

I don't usually check here to welcome newcomers to the site, as I just recently joined myself, but since I ran into you already, in the "Name that tank" thread, I thought I say a quick hello. Hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do.

Wow Messala sounds like we have a lot in common.

I used to visit our local antique book sellers and buy all sorts of 1930s and 40s books and comics, amassed quite a collection, unfortunately due to moving recently they are all boxed and hidden away at the mo!
