I love this site and it's nice to see that it has been finally updated again.

Ahh, Lerenfort...what a great site. I've visited it many times over the years just to drool over all the amazing finds that have emerged from the 'Big Hole'.

The first topic in the list that appears on the Lerenfort website, which concerns the discovery of the remains of a US soldier who died in the battle of the Hurtgen forest, reminds me of the memorial I came across in that area, last year. It was for another US soldier (PFC Robert Cahow) whose remains were discovered a few years ago.

One can only wonder how many more poor souls are still buried out there in the forest in unmarked graves.
