    May 16, 2010 Hi!
    Searching for any info. on Capt. Michael Cahir, US Army Medical Corps.
    Stationed at Baxter General Hospital, 1943-4; killed in Germany Aug. 1946
    in auto accident. Believed to be with 82nd Gen. Hosp while it was training
    at Baxter. Army records burned/missing (1973 fire); no family records to
    be found. I'm Tom Zarr in SLC, Utah, Michael's son. Tel. (801) 277-8956;
    E-mail: thomaszarr58@hotmail.com. Thanks for any help. Have already searched NARA, Nat'l Personnel Records, Army Human Resource Command, V.A. and others; very little found so far. It is likely he was an M.D.,
    possibly from CA, OR or WA. Tried genealogy, but no luck.
