Singapore 1942 - List of British Divisions/Regiments

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well.

I'd like to ask if anyone knows where I can find a definitive list of the British Army present in Singapore pre-Japanese invasion. My late grandfather was in Singapore and was evacuated before it's fall in 1942. He said he was lucky to get out. I am trying to find out which regiment he served in, I think it was an Indian Regiment as I remember seeing a photo if him in his regimental kilt when I was younger.
