I am going to be studying the North African Campaign soon. Can anyone suggest a book that covers the subject fairly completely. I usually try to get a complete book, then go back and fill in on books of individual battles. Any suggetions would be appreciated. Thanks

I think you meant for North Africa, he'd want "An Army at Dawn", Lou. "Battle" is Italy...

Of course. I wasn't thinking...but then, that isn't new. Thanks for catching that faux pas, Luke.

If you want the war through a fictional but objectively true novel, i suggest Killing Rommel by Steven Pressfeild.

A very recent one from Stackpole Books is "ROMMEL'S AFRIKA KORP: El Agheila to El Alamein", available on Amazon for around $15.00 US.
