Greetings to all, I'm a retired police officer w/30 yrs of service in the Chicago metro area.Father served in ww2 and married mom in France.Trying to trace his service and maybe find someone who knew him(or a relative of same).
Didn't ask him enough about it when he was alive, lifes regrets.

Howdy Bob! Nice to meet you and welcome aboard.

Feel free to post some service information about your father here if you know any. We have some really knowledgeable folks here that could help direct you with your research.
Have a good one,

Welcome aboard Bob. Let us know what information you have on your father, and we'll do our best to help out.

Good luck.
