I wonder if our perceptions of it would be different if they called it 'the battle of Hiroshima' from the beginning?

Fall of Singapore (knew it but forgot the name of it :\)

Battle of Kursk (now I REALLY feel stupid...)
Battle of the Philippine Sea
Battle for Brittany
Battle of Leyte Gulf

Seems like a lot but dammit it's Christmas Eve and I'm tired

I choked. I only got 14.

I should have gotten Signapore, Okinawa, Leningrad, Stalingrad

I wrote Market Garden instead of Arnhem (no points, but I feel I should have gotten some there)

I kept trying stuff like Liberation of Holland or Belgium (I guess Brittany was more important because it was an American show)

Wasn't "The Bulge" part of the Ardennes offensive? No points there either...

None for the fall of Nanking or Manchuria either...

 

Fun but a lot of battles are hard to guess because of different names used. .

 

Fun, but it's a crappy list. Makin is listed but for some reason not Tarawa, which was larger, more significant, and the same operation. Also they used the term "Blitzkrieg Attack on Poland" instead of either Operation White or Fall Weiss.
