    Glad to have found this forum. I'm interested in WWII history and was a member of WWII-L for a long time. I look forward to many hours of interesting participation in this forum.

    My father was a B-17 pilot then assigned to the Occupation Forces in 1946 I believe. He met my mother, who was an American working for the War Department in Germany after the war.
