    that's the attitude...be sure and share with her your "Lack of anything better do" motivation. Now might be a good time to flip the cushions on the sofa.

    You could also volunteer to clean out the lint trap of the dryer, or arrange the medicine cabinet in alphabetical order...

    Since the Tide isn't in the battle, I suppose rearranging the spice rack alphabetically, or the medicine cabinet, are alternatives. I think taking the "better half" out to dinner is a much better choice!
